Uncompromising Passion
Belvedere Pure represents the flagship expression of Poland's most celebrated vodka brand, established in 1993 at the historic Polmos Żyrardów distillery. The vodka is crafted from Dankowskie golden rye, a high-starch strain dating to the 1800s that thrives in Poland's challenging climate. Each bottle requires approximately one square meter of rye cultivation. The production process begins with harvesting and mashing, followed by fermentation and initial distillation at an agricultural facility, then three additional distillations at Żyrardów. The spirit rests in tanks for a minimum of two days before being hydrated with the distillery's own purified artesian well water in a slow marrying process spanning several days. The vodka then undergoes filtration through activated charcoal and cellulose particle filters to achieve exceptional purity. Belvedere Pure was launched in the United States in 1996 as a luxury spirit and is marketed as the world's first super-premium vodka. The brand adheres strictly to Polish vodka regulations, using only Polish grains and water with zero artificial additives.
Quadruple-distilled in column stills at Polmos Żyrardów distillery, which operates 24 hours daily for 167 days annually across two seasons. The spirit is hydrated with purified artesian well water from the distillery's own source. Filtration employs activated charcoal and cellulose particle filters. The resting and marrying process takes several days to allow proper integration before final filtration and bottling.
