"Premium Russian vodka aged 30 days in century-old copper vats, blending oat infusion with wheat alcohol and northern botanicals."
Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion
Arkhangelskaya Vyderzhannaya 1898 commemorates the founding of the State Wine Warehouses on the Northern Dvina embankment in Arkhangelsk, established in 1898 by order of Sergey Witte. These warehouses evolved into the Arkhangelsky distillery, which operated continuously through the Russian Empire and Soviet periods. The vodka is produced at the ALVIZ distillery in Arkhangelsk using soft northern water sourced from the region and subjected to rigorous three-stage purification. The spirit blends fragrant wheat alcohol with an infusion of oats, then undergoes 30 days of aging in copper vats dating to the Imperial era. This extended contact with aged copper imparts subtle malty character. The brand itself was founded in 1998 by Alexander Mechetin under the Synergy company umbrella, transitioning to spirits production in 2002. Arkhangelskaya has grown into an internationally recognized premium vodka, recognized by Drinks International as the fastest-growing spirit brand worldwide in 2021.
