Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion
Żołądkowa Gorzka, whose name translates to 'bitter vodka for the stomach,' represents a living link to Poland's centuries-old nalewka tradition. Produced at the historic Polmos Lublin distillery in eastern Poland, now operated under Stock Polska, this herbal spirit has earned international recognition including a Grand Gold Quality Award in 2009 and Three Golden Stars from the International Taste & Quality Institute in 2013. Unlike mass-market flavored vodkas relying on artificial additives, Żołądkowa Gorzka employs natural maceration of dried fruits and a proprietary blend of herbs and spices—including wormwood, yarrow, and other botanicals—followed by an aging period before bottling. The brand won the Oscar FMCG award in 2006 for premium vodkas and a Gold Medal at the International Poznań Trade Fair POLAGRA 2000. Its distinctive golden hue and complex herbal-bitter-sweet character have made it one of Poland's fastest-growing vodka exports, particularly popular in Central and Eastern Europe.
Six-phase distillation process using column stills with carbon and quartz filtration to produce a clean, neutral rectified spirit base. Natural maceration of bitter oranges and proprietary herb-spice blend follows distillation. The spirit ages before bottling to develop complexity and integrate botanical flavors. Production at Stock Polska (Polmos Lublin) maintains traditional Polish distilling standards.
