Uncompromising Passion
Polmos Łańcut traces its origins to 1764, when Duchess Izabela Lubomirska established the distillery on the vast Lubomirski family estate in southeastern Poland. The facility became a birthplace of industrial-scale distilling in Poland during the eighteenth century, when triple distillation techniques emerged to produce okowita—the precursor to modern vodka. The distillery survived wars, political upheaval, and the Soviet era, operating as part of the state-owned Polmos monopoly until privatization in 1991. Though the production facility faced liquidation in 2016, United Beverages acquired full ownership in 2020, preserving the brand and its legacy. Today, Łańcut vodka represents the continuity of Polish distilling heritage, produced using time-tested methods and carefully selected ingredients. The distillery's museum, housed in an 1883 manor, documents the rich history of Polish vodka production and remains a testament to the region's spirited past.
