VKA Vodka was established in 2013 by a group of entrepreneurs in Mugello, Tuscany, centered around the historic Futa Pass region. The brand was developed under the guidance of Luca Pecorini, a renowned restaurant owner and Maître de Chai, who created the original recipe in Barberino di Mugello. The vodka is produced entirely in Tuscany using soft organic wheat and spelt grown through sustainable agriculture in the region. The spirit is distilled using four double-effect continuous vacuum columns before being transported to Firenzuola, north of Florence, where it is blended with filtered spring water from the Tuscan Apennines and bottled. VKA emphasizes eco-friendly production practices and the use of local, sustainable ingredients. The brand is distributed across Italy, the Czech Republic, and Asia, representing a modern expression of Italian vodka craftsmanship that combines traditional distillation methods with contemporary environmental consciousness.
Distilled using four double-effect continuous vacuum columns in Tuscany. The distillate is blended with filtered spring water from the Mugello mountains in the Tuscan Apennines. Organic wheat and spelt grains are sourced from sustainable Tuscan agriculture. The final spirit is bottled at 40% ABV in Firenzuola, north of Florence.
