The Heritage

Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion

Wodka Gorbatschow traces its origins to St. Petersburg, where Leontowitsch Gorbatschow established a vodka distillery in the late 19th century, earning favor among tsars, princes, and common citizens alike. Following the October Revolution of 1917 and the collapse of the Russian Empire, the brand was relocated to Berlin, Germany in 1921, where it has been produced ever since. The vodka is crafted according to the original family recipe, combining traditional Russian distillation methods with modern German precision. Since 2015, the production process was enhanced to include a four-fold cold filtration using activated charcoal, replacing the previous two-fold charcoal filtration. This meticulous process removes unwanted by-products while preserving the vodka's characteristic aromas and purity. Today, Wodka Gorbatschow stands as Germany's number-one vodka brand and one of the most consumed vodkas in the country, known for its crystal clarity and balanced, mild flavor profile.

Produced from 100% grain in Berlin, Germany. Four-fold cold filtration using activated charcoal removes impurities while maintaining vodka character. The process emphasizes preventing external aromas from contaminating the distillate. Traditional family recipe combined with modern production standards ensures consistent quality and mild flavor profile.
