The Essence
"Smooth American-distilled vodka made from Midwest grains, five-times distilled and three-times filtered through proprietary charcoal for clean, versatile mixing."
Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion
New Amsterdam Vodka was launched in 2011 by E&J Gallo, the California-based spirits and wine conglomerate founded in 1933. The brand rapidly became a phenomenon, setting records as the fastest-growing vodka brand globally and reaching the 5-million-case milestone faster than any competitor. Distilled from a blend of 95 percent corn and other cereal grains sourced from Midwest neutral spirit distillers, New Amsterdam was engineered for accessibility and mixability. The five-fold distillation and three-stage charcoal filtration process creates a notably smooth profile that punches above its price point. The brand's success stems from its positioning as an everyday well vodka—affordable enough for volume consumption yet refined enough for sipping. Its versatility in cocktails, from vodka-sodas to Bloody Marys, combined with an expanding portfolio of fruit flavors, has made it a staple in bars and home collections across North America.
Five-times distilled in column stills from Midwest grain neutral spirits (95% corn, 5% other cereal grains). Three-stage filtration through proprietary charcoal material. Sourced from two neutral spirit distillers and bottled at 40 ABV. The multi-stage process removes impurities while preserving grain character, resulting in a clean, neutral spirit suitable for mixing.
