Du Nord Social Spirits emerged from an unexpected journey when founder Chris Montana was encouraged by a supporter to establish what became America's first Black-owned distillery in 2013. Operating from Minneapolis, the brand recently rebranded from Du Nord Craft Spirits to emphasize its mission as a conduit for social change and inclusivity within the spirits industry.
