The Heritage

Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion

Nikka Coffey Vodka was introduced in 2017 by the renowned Japanese distillery Nikka, which has specialized in whisky production since 1963. The spirit is crafted using two authentic Coffey stills originally imported from Scotland in 1963 and housed at the Miyagikyo distillery. Unlike modern column stills, these historic continuous distillation apparatus produce a richer, more textured distillate. The vodka is made from a carefully selected blend of corn and malted barley, distilled separately and then combined by master blenders. The final spirit undergoes meticulous filtration through white birch charcoal to achieve exceptional purity while preserving the delicate complexity that sets it apart from neutral commercial vodkas. Nikka's decades of experience in gin and vodka production since the 1960s, combined with traditional blending skills inherited from the founder, resulted in a spirit that captures the exquisite fullness characteristic of Coffey distillates. The vodka has earned prestigious recognition, including Country Winner Japan at the World Vodka Awards 2022 and a Trophy for Best Japanese Varietal.
