Uncompromising Passion
Khlibnyi Dar, meaning 'Bread Gift' in Ukrainian, was introduced to the market in 2002 by the Bayadera Group and is produced in the village of Stepanky in Cherkasy Oblast, a region renowned for grain cultivation. The vodka is distilled from a three-grain mashbill of wheat, rye, and malted barley, drawing on local agricultural heritage. What distinguishes Khlibnyi Dar is its patented production process (Ukrainian Patent 102827) involving cooling and aging the spirit before filtration, a technique designed to achieve what the distillery calls 'aged mildness'—a notably soft texture uncommon in standard-strength vodka. The spirit is then triple-filtered through American oak and uses natural spring water from local artesian wells. By 2011, Khlibnyi Dar ranked as the third-best-selling vodka brand globally, testament to its international recognition and quality. The vodka has received numerous authoritative awards and is favored for both neat sipping and classic cocktails.
