Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion
Konik's Tail Vodka represents a modern revival of traditional Polish vodka craftsmanship. Created by Pleurat Shabani, a Croatian immigrant who rose from homelessness to establish himself in London's drinks industry, the brand embodies resilience and dedication to quality. Named after the Konik, a primitive Polish horse breed, the vodka draws on Polish folklore suggesting that glimpsing this mystical beast ensures a bountiful grain harvest. Produced at the historic Polmos Bialystok distillery near the Białowieza Forest, each batch is handcrafted from three heritage grains—spelt (the happy grain), rye (the dancing grain), and wheat (the smiling grain)—each selected for its unique contribution to the final spirit. Every grain lot is traceable to its source farmer and seed origin, ensuring complete authenticity. The 16-week slow distillation process allows each grain's natural flavours to fully develop. Filtered through silver birch charcoal and hand-filled, hand-labelled, and personally signed by Shabani, Konik's Tail has earned recognition as the Most Loved Vodka by 50 of the world's leading bars and is served at Michelin-starred restaurants and five-star hotels globally.
