The Heritage

Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion

Smirnoff No. 21 traces its heritage to late 19th-century Russia, when it was originally designated 'Table Wine No. 21' as part of a numbered selection of vodkas offered to Russian nobility and peasants alike. The recipe has remained largely unchanged for over a century. Today, Smirnoff No. 21 is produced in North America for the global market, maintaining the original formula while leveraging modern distillation techniques. The vodka is triple-distilled in multi-column stills and undergoes ten stages of charcoal filtration across seven columns, ensuring exceptional clarity and purity. Made from non-GMO prairie grains, it is certified kosher and gluten-free. The brand has earned recognition at major international competitions, including a Gold medal at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and a Double Gold at the 2019 Las Vegas Global Spirit Awards. As the world's number-one selling vodka, Smirnoff No. 21 remains a cornerstone of the vodka category, equally suited to neat consumption or as a versatile mixer in classic cocktails.
