The Essence
"Smooth Russian grain vodka distilled five times and filtered through birch charcoal, featuring a distinctive mineral water character from deep Russian wells."
Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion
Zyr Russian Vodka was released in 2003 and represents a commitment to traditional Russian vodka production. Produced in the Moscow region, historically the center of quality vodka manufacturing, Zyr employs a rigorous 9-5-3 formula: nine filtrations, five distillations, and three tastings. Unlike many competitors that purchase bulk ethanol and modify it, Zyr maintains a complete field-to-bottle supply chain using winter wheat and rye grown in Russia's rich black soil. The water source is drawn from a 460-foot deep well in northwestern Russia near the Finnish border, filtered five times to preserve its mineral character while ensuring purity. After five distillations, the spirit is married with this carefully treated water and filtered four times through birch charcoal—a process reserved for the highest grades of Russian vodka. This meticulous approach yields a vodka with virtually no impurities, characterized by a distinctive mineral profile reminiscent of classic Russian vodkas.
Five-column distillations of fermented winter wheat and rye blend. Water sourced from 460-foot deep well in northwestern Russia, filtered five times. Final product filtered four times through birch charcoal using traditional Russian sand-membrane filtration followed by charcoal. Produces characteristic mineral water body and mouthfeel typical of luxury-grade Russian vodka.
