The Essence
"German fig-flavored vodka liqueur with natural Mediterranean fig essence, offering smooth sweetness with floral and citrus undertones."
Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion
Kleiner Feigling, whose name translates to 'Little Coward' as a pun on the German homophones feige (cowardly) and Feige (fig), was first produced in 1992 by the Behn distillery in Eckernförde, Germany. The brand has since become a global phenomenon, achieving annual worldwide sales exceeding one million cases. The spirit is crafted from premium triple-distilled and triple-charcoal-filtered vodka infused with natural Mediterranean figs, resulting in a smooth, approachable liqueur with minimal alcohol burn. In Germany, Kleiner Feigling is traditionally consumed in small 20-milliliter shooter bottles, accompanied by a distinctive ritual: the drinker taps the upside-down bottle cap on the table to create bubbles before consumption. This combination of accessible alcohol content, natural flavoring, and cultural tradition has made it a staple in social settings and cocktail culture across Europe and beyond.
Triple-distilled premium vodka base subjected to triple charcoal filtration. Natural Mediterranean fig flavoring is infused into the filtered spirit, creating a crystal-clear liqueur. The low 20% ABV is achieved through careful blending, resulting in a smooth mouthfeel without harsh alcohol bite or burn on the palate.
