The Essence
"Premium Ukrainian vodka made from wheat and rye, quadruple-distilled with centre-cut spirit selection for refined smoothness."
Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion
Zirkova was established in 2005 by Canadian entrepreneurs John and Katherine Vellinga, who sought to bring premium Ukrainian vodka to North America. The brand is distilled at the Zlatogor Distillery in the Cherkassy region of Ukraine using local wheat and rye grains. The production process employs quadruple distillation with careful selection of only the centre-cut spirits, removing lighter spirits that cause medicinal notes and heavier spirits that create palate burn. The company is headquartered in Oakville, Ontario, and has appeared on the Canadian television series Dragons' Den, achieving a valuation of CA$10 million by 2012. Following the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Zirkova intensified its commitment to humanitarian projects, donating profits to support Ukrainian causes. The brand also developed an Ontario-distilled product line. Zirkova offers multiple expressions tailored to different consumption preferences, including sipping and cocktail variants.

The vodka master employs centre-cut selection methodology, isolating only the purest middle fraction of each distillation while removing lighter and heavier fractions. Ukrainian spring water is used throughout production. This selective approach eliminates medicinal and harsh flavour compounds.
