The Heritage

Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion

Queen Bee Distilling was founded by Catharine Faulconer and Kim Martin, two Houston women with over 45 years of friendship and East Texas roots. Both struggle with autoimmune issues and allergies requiring them to avoid grains, gluten, and nightshades. After exhaustively searching for spirits that met their dietary restrictions and finding none, they decided to create their own. Osmia Vodka, their inaugural expression, is distilled from raw, chemical-free honey sourced from Thirsty Bee Meadery in Tomball, Texas, combined with organic non-GMO cane sugar. The name Osmia references the solitary bee species known for pollinating spring flowers and fruit orchards. The vodka contains no chemicals, glycerin, or artificial additives, positioning it as an inclusive luxury spirit for those with dietary sensitivities. Launched in 2025, Osmia represents a conscientious approach to premium spirits craftsmanship, allowing people with allergies to participate fully in social occasions without compromise.

Distilled from raw, chemical-free honey from Thirsty Bee Meadery and organic non-GMO cane sugar. The fermentation and distillation process avoids all grain-based ingredients, gluten, nightshades, and chemical additives. Bottled at 40% ABV with no artificial filtration or additives, maintaining the natural character of the honey and cane sugar base.
