Square One Basil Vodka emerged from Allison Evanow's vision to create innovative spirits inspired by the vibrant farmers' markets of Marin County, California. Evanow, drawing on her background in wine marketing at Napa Valley and her experience as a brand ambassador for Jose Cuervo, sought to explore the creative possibilities within spirits and mixology. The basil infusion represents a deliberate approach to cocktail craftsmanship, combining four organic basil varieties—Genovese, Thai, Lemon, and Sweet—with complementary botanicals including coriander, honeysuckle, and lemongrass. This combination creates a spirit designed for contemporary mixology, particularly suited to Mediterranean and Asian-inspired cocktails, as well as reimagined classics like the Bloody Mary. The product reflects a broader trend among bartenders and home mixologists who recognize basil's versatility in creating complex, herbaceous flavor profiles in spirits.

Square One Basil Vodka is produced from organic grain base spirit and infused with essences of four basil varieties plus botanical aromatics. The infusion process incorporates Genovese, Thai, Lemon, and Sweet basil alongside coriander, honeysuckle, and lemongrass to achieve balanced herbal character. Bottled at 40% ABV in 750 ml format.
