Ketel One Citroen

Ketel One Citroen was introduced in the early 2000s as the brand's first flavored vodka offering, marking a significant expansion beyond the classic unflavored spirit. The product was developed by the Nolet family to capture the fresh, vibrant character of premium citrus while maintaining the smooth, clean profile Ketel One is known for. The vodka combines natural essences of four distinct lemon varieties with two lime types, creating a balanced and versatile spirit suited for both neat consumption and cocktail mixing. Following its successful launch, Ketel One Citroen quickly gained popularity in bars and among home mixologists, particularly for classic cocktails like the Cosmopolitan, Lemon Drop Martini, and Bloody Mary. The flavored variant's success demonstrated the market appetite for quality flavored vodkas and paved the way for additional expressions in the Ketel One portfolio, including Ketel One Oranje, released in 2010.

Distilled from grain using traditional Dutch methods with column stills. The spirit undergoes charcoal filtration to achieve its characteristic purity and smoothness. Natural lemon and lime essences are carefully infused post-distillation to preserve the delicate balance of citrus aromatics and subtle honey undertones.
