Absolut 100 Proof Black

Absolut 100 Proof Black was launched in 2007 as a bold, higher-strength expression of Sweden's iconic Absolut vodka. Named after its 100 proof strength, it represents an intensified version of the classic spirit that has been produced in Åhus since 1879. The vodka is made exclusively from Swedish winter wheat grown in the rich fields surrounding Åhus, the birthplace of founder Lars Olsson Smith. It employs the continuous distillation method pioneered by L.O. Smith himself in 1879, which distills the spirit an infinite number of times rather than the traditional three or four. The distinctive matte black bottle with silver lettering signals this is a premium, high-proof offering distinct from regular Absolut. Containing no added sugar, Absolut 100 delivers a spicy yet smooth character with herbal and grain notes, making it suitable for premium cocktails and overproof martinis.

Produced in Åhus, Sweden using continuous column distillation, the L.O. Smith method pioneered in 1879. Made from 100% Swedish winter wheat with no added sugar.
