The Essence
"Nevada estate vodka made from 100% locally grown rye and Sierra Mountain snowmelt, hand-crafted in small batches with a creamy texture and subtle rye character."
Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion
High Ground Estate Vodka represents a commitment to terroir and local provenance. Produced by Minden Mill Distilling in Minden, Nevada, the vodka adheres to Nevada's strict estate distillery laws, which require that the majority of raw materials be grown on land under the producer's control. The rye is cultivated in the high desert of Nevada, milled on-site, and distilled using state-of-the-art column stills with pure spring water sourced from Sierra Mountain snowmelt. The result is a vodka with intentional character rather than the typical neutral profile—toasted grain aromatics, white pepper notes, and a creamy palate with hints of vanilla custard, nutmeg, and baked apples. The Beverage Tasting Institute awarded it 94 points, recognizing its quality and distinctive terroir-driven profile. High Ground is positioned for sipping and long drinks rather than classic martinis.
