Uncompromising Passion
Grey Goose Le Citron was introduced in January 2002 as the brand's first flavored vodka expression, launching a successful line that now includes five distinct flavors. Crafted in France using soft winter wheat grown on Northern French farms, the vodka undergoes a single five-column distillation process. The signature element is the use of Menton lemons—larger, thicker-skinned varieties from the South of France prized by French chefs for their concentrated essential oils and milder, less acidic character compared to North and South American varieties. Lemon oils are extracted at a specialized parfumerie and expertly blended with the base vodka before final filtration through cellulose and carbon. The result is a naturally bold citrus expression that balances fresh lemon zest with subtle floral undertones and a creamy orange character, designed to be enjoyed on the rocks or lightly diluted rather than neat.
Single distillation using five-column still process. Base vodka blended with pristine spring water naturally filtered through Champaign limestone from the Cognac region. Lemon essential oils extracted from Menton, Brazilian, and Argentine lemons at a parfumerie, then blended with vodka and filtered through cellulose and carbon for final refinement.
