Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion
Xellent Vodka represents the pinnacle of Swiss distilling tradition, produced by Distillerie Willisau, established in 1918. The vodka is crafted from bread-grade rye cultivated by 18 farmers in the Napf region of Central Switzerland, ensuring meticulous quality control from seed to bottle. The rye blend combines Matador and Picasso varieties specifically bred to thrive in Alpine conditions. The spirit undergoes triple distillation in copper pot stills, achieving over 96% purity, followed by final rectification and filtration through quartz crystals. Pure glacial water sourced from the Titlis mountain provides the distinctive mineral character. Xellent gained international recognition when it became the only vodka named to F. Paul Pacult's top 10 of the top 110 spirits for 2005, and earned Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The brand emphasizes that vodka should possess character and flavor contribution rather than neutral anonymity, reflecting Swiss precision and independence.
