Virtuous Vodka Rye

Virtuous Vodka was founded in 2013 by Swedish chef and visionary Claes Stenmark, who sought to create vodkas that reflected the unfiltered, full-flavoured essence of the Nordic food scene. Unlike traditional vodka production, which aims to strip away taste, Virtuous deliberately preserves the authentic character of its organic rye base. The brand's philosophy centres on using only the heart-of-the-heart of the distillate—the very core of the finest portion—rather than the standard practice of using only the heart. This meticulous approach yields a spirit full of character yet remarkably smooth. In 2023, Virtuous Vodka Rye achieved exceptional recognition at the International Wine & Spirits Competition, scoring 99 out of 100 points and winning both the Spirit Gold Outstanding and Vodka Trophy awards. The vodka contains no added sugar, artificial ingredients, or additives, relying entirely on natural organic rye and a unique continuous distillation process.
