The Heritage

Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion

Soplica Staropolska represents the heritage of Poland's oldest industrially produced vodka brand, established in 1891 by Bolesław Michał Kasprowicz in Gniezno. The name derives from a family of Lithuanian country squires, reflecting the vodka's deep cultural roots in Eastern European tradition. Unlike many modern vodkas, Staropolska is aged in oak casks, a process that imparts distinctive wood-derived flavors including walnuts, plum, and clove. The vodka is infused with natural ingredients—herbs, fruits, and spices—creating a complex, golden-hued spirit that bridges the gap between traditional flavored vodka and premium craft production. The recipe itself was developed by Kasprowicz and remains largely unchanged, embodying over 130 years of Polish distilling expertise. This commitment to traditional methods and authentic ingredients has made Soplica Staropolska a benchmark for Old Polish vodka style.

Distilled multiple times from rye and wheat grains, then filtered several times through charcoal to achieve smoothness. Aged in oak casks which impart walnut, plum, and clove notes. Infused with dried fruits, herbs, and spices before bottling. Produced by CEDC International at the historic Gniezno distillery.
