The Heritage

Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion

Schramm Organic Vodka debuted in August 2009 as the vision of Master Distiller Tyler Schramm, who studied brewing and distilling at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. His university thesis focused on proving that potato vodka could achieve the complexity and richness of single malt scotch. Located in Pemberton, British Columbia, in the heart of the Coast Mountains, the distillery sources organic potatoes grown just 15 kilometers away in the Pemberton Valley. Each small batch uses 1,200 pounds of potatoes, hand-distilled in a copper pot still using all-natural fermentation without chemicals or synthetic additives. The final distillation takes 26 hours. In its inaugural competition in 2010, Schramm won Double Gold and Spirit of the Year at the World Spirits Awards in Austria. The operation remains a family affair, with hand-filling and labeling producing only 700 bottles monthly. Tyler Schramm personally tests and samples every batch to ensure quality.

Triple-distilled in a hand-operated copper pot still using all-natural fermentation without chemicals or synthetic anti-foaming agents. Each batch uses 1,200 pounds of organic Pemberton Valley potatoes. The spirit is distilled to 95% ABV, then blended with glacial water from the Coast Mountains to 40% ABV, and lightly charcoal filtered to preserve character while maximizing purity.
