The Essence
"Premium Polish potato vodka, quadruple-distilled in small batches using approximately 3 kilograms of potatoes per bottle."
Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion
Chopin was conceived in 1993 by workers at the Polmos Siedlce distillery in Krzesk, Poland, as a celebration marking the end of communism. Named after the legendary Romantic composer Frédéric Chopin, the brand was introduced to North America in 1997 by Tadeusz Dorda, who later purchased the distillery and brand. The Dorda family has maintained Chopin as Poland's last family-owned vodka producer, operating from a 19th-century facility that has been distilling spirits since 1896. Master Distiller Waldemar Durakiewicz has overseen production for over 40 years, ensuring uncompromising quality standards. Chopin pioneered the ultra-premium vodka category and has earned numerous international awards, including multiple gold medals from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The brand's philosophy emphasizes ingredient-forward, hand-crafted vodka worthy of sipping and savoring rather than merely mixing.
Quadruple-distilled using traditional copper stills at the historic Polmos Siedlce distillery in eastern Poland. Production employs small-batch methods with locally-sourced potatoes, approximately 3 kilograms per bottle. Water sourced from pristine Polish countryside. Charcoal filtration applied. Much of the production process remains completed by hand, preserving traditional vodka-making techniques.
