Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion
Absolut Elyx represents the pinnacle of Absolut's craftsmanship, taking the brand's One Source philosophy to its logical extreme. Every element of production—from seed to bottle—occurs within a 15-mile radius of Åhus, Sweden. The winter wheat originates exclusively from the Råbelöf estate, which has cultivated grain since the 1400s in a region blessed with ideal growing conditions: dry, cold winters and long, warm summers. The spirit is distilled using a manually operated vintage copper column still dating to 1921, known as Column 51. This copper-crafted process is central to Elyx's character; thousands of copper packets are used sacrificially to strip unwanted compounds while imparting a rich, layered complexity. Master Distiller Kristen Asplund oversees production with inherited expertise passed through generations. The result is what producers call 'liquid silk'—a vodka distinguished by its velvety mouthfeel, clean finish, and naturally elegant flavor profile. Absolut Elyx launched as the luxury expression of the Absolut brand, targeting discerning consumers seeking transparency, terroir, and traditional craftsmanship in premium spirits.
Manually distilled in a vintage 1921 copper column still (Column 51) using winter wheat from the single Råbelöf estate. Copper catalyzation naturally removes trace impurities and contributes to the rich mouthfeel. Production occurs entirely within a 15-mile radius in Åhus, Sweden. The distillery operates as CO2-neutral and energy-efficient, with distillation overseen by Master Distiller Kristen Asplund.
