The Essence
"World's first rested, super-premium potato vodka, aged two years in 50-year-old oak barrels from exceptional 2016 harvest potatoes."
Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion
Chopin's Family Reserve represents a decade-long search for exceptional potato varieties. The 2016 growing season at the Chopin estate in Poland yielded potatoes of remarkable quality, harvested at peak summer when their skins were still tender. These young potatoes were carefully distilled to preserve their natural sweet earthiness, then rested in 50-year-old oak barrels for two years to allow the spirit to mellow and develop complexity. Bottled by hand, this represents the culmination of Chopin's philosophy that vodka can possess genuine character and flavor. The result is a singular expression that challenges conventional vodka production, establishing a new category of rested, super-premium potato vodka. The brand, launched in 1993 and named after Polish composer Frédéric Chopin, has long sought to elevate vodka beyond its reputation as a flavorless spirit.
Distilled from young potatoes harvested at peak ripeness to retain maximum sweet earthiness. Rested in 50-year-old oak barrels for two years before bottling. The extended barrel aging mellows the spirit and imparts subtle oak complexity while preserving the potato's natural character. Hand-bottled to ensure quality.
