The Essence
"Super premium organic vodka from the Faroe Islands, made with EU-certified organic wheat and naturally alkaline water filtered through 55-million-year-old basalt."

Uncompromising Passion
Nykur Vodka draws its name from Faroese folklore, a mythical horse-like creature that emerges from mountain lakes. The vodka is crafted using water discovered 1.5 kilometres deep within a mountainside on Suðuroy, the southernmost island of the Faroe Islands. This water filters naturally through twelve layers of ancient basalt rock, emerging with a pH of 8.3—naturally alkaline and exceptionally pure. Combined with organically grown, sun-ripened wheat, the result is a vodka distinguished by its soft, rounded character. The brand emphasizes sustainability and organic certification throughout production, avoiding chemical shortcuts in fermentation and blending. Nykur has garnered recognition including double gold medals at international spirits competitions, establishing itself as a distinctive Nordic premium vodka that prioritizes environmental responsibility and ingredient purity.
Water sourced from Kirvi mountain range, naturally filtered through twelve layers of 55-million-year-old basalt rock, yielding naturally alkaline water (pH 8.3). Distilled using EU-certified organic wheat with no chemical additives in fermentation or blending. Column distillation process maintains organic integrity throughout production.
