Uncompromising Passion

Crystal Head Vodka was conceived in 2008 by Canadian actor Dan Aykroyd and artist John Alexander, who recognized the market demand for an additive-free premium vodka. Inspired by the mythology of the Thirteen Crystal Skulls and Aykroyd's fascination with the occult, the brand was developed with a distinctive crystal skull-shaped bottle designed as a symbol of life, power, and enlightenment. The vodka is produced at the Rock Spirits distillery in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, using locally sourced Peaches and Cream corn variety. The spirit gained significant cultural visibility when Aykroyd provided bottles for the opening of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The brand has expanded beyond its Original expression to include Aurora, made from English wheat, and Onyx, crafted with Blue Weber agave. Crystal Head's commitment to purity and creative packaging has established it as a distinctive player in the premium vodka market, appealing to consumers who value both quality and artistic presentation.

Produced at Rock Spirits distillery in Newfoundland and Labrador using Ontario-grown Peaches and Cream corn. Quadruple-distilled to 95% ABV, then reduced with pure Newfoundland water to 40% ABV. Filtered seven times total, with the final three filtrations through Herkimer diamond crystals (double-terminated quartz). No additives used in production.
