The Essence
"Swedish super-premium vodka made from winter wheat using a proprietary combination of continuous and batch distillation for balanced smoothness and character."
Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion
Level Vodka was launched in 2004 by Absolut as a direct competitor to Grey Goose, positioning itself in the super-premium segment. Produced in Åhus, Sweden, Level employed an innovative dual-distillation approach: continuous distillation to remove congeners and create smoothness, combined with batch distillation to preserve character and complexity. The brand was marketed as "Beyond Smooth" and "perfectly balanced," emphasizing the harmony between refinement and personality. Reviewers praised its smooth sipping character with subtle citrus notes and a clean, warming finish that lingered pleasantly without harshness. The vodka performed well in mixed drinks, particularly with tonic and lime. Despite its premium positioning and positive reception, Level was discontinued in 2004, making it a short-lived but notable entry in Absolut's premium portfolio.
