The Essence
"Swedish flavored vodka infused with natural mandarin and orange flavors, no added sugar, launched in 1999."
Crafted with
Uncompromising Passion
Absolut Mandrin was launched in 1999, twenty years after the original Absolut Vodka and as the fourth flavored expression in the Absolut family, following Peppar, Citron, and Kurant. The vodka is produced in Åhus, Sweden using the same continuous distillation method pioneered by founder Lars Olsson Smith in 1879, which differs from traditional triple or quadruple distillation by repeating the process an infinite number of times for exceptional purity. The base is Swedish winter wheat grown locally and harvested the following spring after developing under the protective Swedish snow, combined with pure water from a deep well in Åhus. The mandarin and orange flavors are derived exclusively from natural ingredients with no added sugar, a significant differentiator in the flavored vodka category. The infusion includes mandarin, orange, and complementary citrus notes with hints of orange peel, creating a complex, smooth, and mellow character that has been received enthusiastically worldwide.
Produced using continuous distillation method at the Absolut distillery in Åhus, Sweden. Base spirit made from Swedish winter wheat and pure well water from Åhus. Natural mandarin, orange, and citrus flavors infused without added sugar. The continuous distillation process repeats infinitely rather than the traditional three to four times, ensuring exceptional purity and smoothness.
