Uncompromising Passion
Grey Goose Altius represents the pinnacle of the Grey Goose portfolio, drawing inspiration from the breathtaking French Alps. Launched as a limited-edition expression, Altius combines the brand's signature soft winter wheat from Picardie with pristine Alpine spring water sourced from the mountain summits. The vodka's defining innovation is its sub-freezing crystallization process at negative 24 degrees Celsius, which mimics the rare natural phenomena occurring at high altitudes in glacial environments. This process freezes out impurities and yields an exceptionally smooth, mineral-forward spirit. Each bottle is hand-filled and individually numbered, emphasizing its exclusivity and craft. Master Distiller François Thibault developed Altius to capture the essence of alpine minerality and glacial smoothness, positioning it as a vodka meant to be savoured neat or over ice rather than masked in cocktails. The bottle design itself reflects the wind-swept mountains and icy blue skies of the Alps, reinforcing the connection between terroir and liquid.
Produced from soft winter wheat sourced from Picardie, northern France, combined with pristine spring water from the French Alps. The vodka undergoes a proprietary sub-freezing crystallization filtration process at negative 24 degrees Celsius to achieve extreme purity and mineral character. This cold-crystallization technique removes impurities while preserving the delicate flavour profile. Each bottle is hand-filled and numbered to ensure quality control and exclusivity.
